January Meeting - Finite Element Analysis and Computational Fluid Dynamics

January 14 Dinner and Technical Presentation featuring DRD Technology Corp.

Chris Andersen, P.E., President of DRD Technology Corporation, will present several case studies on the ANSYS process of Finite Element Analysis and Computational Fluid Dynamics.  The case studies will represent engineering simulation models DRD has performed for its clients.

Four topic examples are:

•     Explosion Simulation for Thermal Battery Squibs, EaglePicher Technologies, Joplin, MO

•     Compact Tractor Lift Bucket Dynamic Simulation, Bobcat, Gwinner, ND

•     Horizontal Motion Conveyor Dynamic Simulation, Heat and Control, Inc., Carrollton, TX

•     Airplane Windshield Bird Strike Simulation, Nordam, Tulsa, OK
