September Meeting - What is a Maker?

September Meeting

Please join us on September 18th for a meeting to learn and discuss one of the largest educational movements of this decade.

What is a Maker?
There is an international movement of DIYs, tinkerers,
and inventors that is sweeping across the globe. But
where did it come from, how is it different from the
Popular Mechanic subscribers from the past, and what
impact does it have on tech culture as a whole?
Members of St. Louis' own Makerspace, the Arch
Reactor, will present on these topics and answer
questions on the subject. After the meeting, there will
be a tour of the Arch Reactor for anyone that would
like to get a closer look.
